While many Arm Chair Internet A&Rs might think this is a bad move, this is actually quite the opposite. You gotta strike while the iron is hot. How do you think Chief Keef would’ve felt if he decided to “stay indie” or “build up his stock” and decided to brush off label deals in 2012? You think he would of still been worth that 4 million now in 2014?
